The Residence Club at Teton Pines

View Slide Show

Teton Pines Resort and Country Club, rated by Golf Digest as one of the nation's top golf resorts, is selling memberships to the first-ever, golf-oriented residence club in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The exclusive new Residence Club at Teton Pines will consist of only 48 members, many of whom are expected to be both golf and skiing enthusiasts.

The Club will comprise eight luxurious, two-bedroom residences, all located along a creek on the Arnold Palmer-designed golf course and just steps from the golf clubhouse. Club members receive one-sixth ownership in one of the new residences and enjoy country club privileges while in residence.

"The Residence Club at Teton Pines represents a cost-effective and hassle-free way for members to own premium golf real estate in Jackson Hole, one of the world's most beautiful mountain environments," says Kevin Getz, the club's director of sales.

Introduced to the market near the end of summer 2002, the club elicited strong interest from country club members, the resort's hotel guests and area visitors. Golf enthusiasts from Maine to California and Texas to Montana previewed the project, according to Getz.

"Many of those who have previewed the Club are golf enthusiasts from warm weather climates," says Getz. "In addition to the golf, they are looking for the opportunity to spend time in the mountains."

Construction on the second phase of the eight-phase project was completed in August. Pending sales, plans for phases three and four will be underway soon.

Teton Pines' Club elegant two-bedroom residences feature hardwood floors, a full kitchen with granite countertops and custom alder wood cabinets, a large living room with stone fireplace, a dining area, a powder room, and spacious master and guest suites with oversized bathrooms graced by natural stone flooring. Three outdoor decks invite relaxed viewing of the golf course and majestic Teton Range.

"The fit and finish is comparable to what you'd find in a million-dollar plus vacation home, yet the atmosphere is very warm and casual," notes Getz.

Members of the The Residence Club at Teton Pines enjoy more than a nice place to stay. The Teton Pines golf course, with its superlative design and incomparable setting is recognized by Conde Naste Traveler as one of the "Top 75 Golf Resorts Around the World." Despite its mountain setting the Teton Pines course is relatively flat and very user-friendly, even to someone playing it for the first time. Measured from the championship tees, the course stretches 7,412 yards. The length is mitigated by the elevation of the course-6,200 feet-where balls carry up to 10 percent farther in the mountain air.

Although accommodating, the course delivers exhilarating play. Granite outcroppings and stunning vistas of Jackson Hole Valley and the Teton Range frame the greens. The fairways are generally large, featuring classic Palmer design with multiple tiers and mounding. Meticulous landscaping amplifies the visual impact.

The Teton Pines Resort and Country Club features numerous amenities that can be enjoyed by those other than golf enthusiasts. Club members enjoy full access to the resort's clubhouse, fine-dining restaurant, bar and casual restaurant, outdoor pool, year-round tennis, fly-fishing pond, and, in winter, cross-country ski track.

In addition to the activities members can enjoy at the Teton Pines Resort and Country Club, the greater Jackson Hole environment offers an endless array of multi-seasonal things to do. Located in the heart of the 19-million-acre Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem - which encompasses Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks - Jackson Hole is an outdoor playground in which you can ski, golf, hike, fish, mountain bike, river raft, kayak, horseback ride, and climb within the shadow of the staggeringly beautiful Teton Mountains.

And then there's nearby Jackson, a small frontier town that's big on diversions, boasting an enticing array of restaurants, art galleries, and shops. In summer, the town hosts an impressive number of top-caliber events and festivals, including Old West Days (a celebration of the West's history and heritage), the Grand Teton Music Festival (an 8-week world class musical event), Antique art shows, and the world-famous Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival.

With the first phase of The Residence Club at Teton Pines sold-out, it is clear that buyers appreciate the value of this exclusive club and its unsurpassed environment. As a member, you can enjoy a spectacular location, a full complement of amenities, and the ultimate Jackson Hole lifestyle.
